The Merchant of Venice (2013)

Opening Night Carnival Event - Tuesday, February 12, at 7 pm

Join us on February 12 to bring a little bit of Carnival to Ithaca!

Carnival in Venice is one of the world's great festivals, dating back to the 12th century and drawing up to 3 million visitors a year to Venice to participate. The famous masks worn during Carnival have become iconic images and enduring symbols of Venice.

In 2013, the final night of Carnival is Tuesday, February 12 — which (not coincidentally) is the opening night of our production of The Merchant of Venice.

We invite you to join us for a special event that night to celebrate our opening and the end of Carnival, featuring:

  • Carnival masks for all guests
  • free appetizers from Northstar
  • raffles and prize giveaways, featuring gifts and gift certificates from:
    • American Crafts by Robbie Dein
    • Moosewood Restaurant
    • Ithaca Bakery
    • Deeply Devoted Massage Studio
  • a special discussion with the cast, and more!

Add a dinner package for a complete night out!

Seating is limited, and our last Fall Creek production sold out every seat in advance — so don't wait too long to reserve your seats!
